It comes into particularly close contact with face and hair, and because pillows are propped up and crumpled, green and silver-grey sit closest together here. Celadon Green is one of the colours of our Classico sateen collection.

Celadon in combination

Pillows are the most flexible layer of the bed: they can be swapped, stacked and mixed while the rest stays as it is. On pillows, a shade this muted behaves differently from a strong colour: against a white duvet cover it adds a tint rather than an accent, and it extends a Celadon Green set tone on tone. With Pure White the combination stays light; with Travertine Beige, warm and cool play against each other and make both shades clearer. Two pillow sizes together add depth to the bed without introducing a second colour.

The surface in direct contact with the skin

In a satin weave, the warp thread passes over several weft threads, which brings more yarn to the surface. The side you lie on is therefore smooth, with no noticeable texture. The yarn is spun from combed American Pima cotton, a long-staple cotton whose long fibres give a finer yarn with fewer fibre ends standing out. In the trade, sateen made from this kind of cotton is usually sold as ‘Mako satin’; Mako is the Egyptian variety of the same species. The fabric has 320 threads per square inch (320 TC), weighs 120 g/m² and is woven in Northern Italy.

Sizes and made to measure

You can choose from 26 pillow sizes, ranging from 30x50 cm to 40x145 cm, plus a cover for the 15x40 cm neck roll. If your size is not among them, we sew the pillowcase to your measurements – at no extra charge, on request by email or WhatsApp.

Zip and atelier

We sew each pillowcase after your order is placed. The zip is of German manufacture and has a metal slider. It is concealed and colour-matched to the fabric.

Care and certification

The fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
