Solid-colour cotton sateen fitted sheet in Lavender

The fabric is dyed through and has no pattern. On a lavender fitted sheet, this pale tone is least visible: pulled taut, the surface has almost no folds, and because the colour gathers in the folds, the sheet looks very light. Lavender is one of the colours of our Classico sateen collection.

Lavender as the base layer

A sheet in this tone forms a cool, very light surface beneath the bedding and works with whatever colour the duvet cover happens to be. Along the edge of the bed it draws a narrow lavender line, which forms a gentle transition to a white bedding set. Anyone who wants to see the tone as a colour will see more of it on the duvet cover and pillowcases; for a neutral base, choose sheets in Pure White and keep Lavender for the layer above them.

Side depth and fit

With a fitted sheet, the fit depends not only on the width and length but also on the depth of the sides. This sheet is made for a mattress and topper with a combined depth of 18 to 27 cm. The sides are 30 cm deep; for 60×120 cm, 70×140 cm and 80×160 cm they are 20 cm. The elastic is sewn in all the way round and draws the sheet onto the mattress along all four sides, rather than holding it at the corners alone. The surface of cotton sateen

The fabric is the same as that of the duvet cover and pillowcases: a satin weave in combed American Pima cotton, a long-staple cotton whose long fibres give a finer, more even yarn. In the trade, sateen made from this kind of cotton is usually sold as ‘Mako satin’; Mako is the Egyptian variety of the same species. The sateen has 320 threads per square inch (320 TC), weighs 120 g/m² and is woven in Northern Italy. Its surface is smooth, with no noticeable texture.

You can choose from 22 sizes, ranging from 60×120 cm to 200×220 cm. If your size is not among them, we sew the sheet to your measurements at no extra charge, on request by email or WhatsApp.

Each sheet is cut and sewn after your order is placed.

Care and certification

The fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. Wash Lavender inside out at 40 °C.
