Which duvet cover size fits your duvet?

The dimensions of your duvet are what matter, not the width of the bed. The cover should have the same stated dimensions as the duvet: a 155×220 cm duvet should be paired with a 155×220 cm cover. Check the sewn-in label or measure the duvet while it is spread out flat, reading the dimensions as width × length.

Whether the duvet measures 135×200 cm or 280×240 cm, the dimensions stated on it are always the ones to follow. A significantly oversized cover offers no advantage: the duvet may shift inside it and may not fill the corners completely. If none of the sizes available in our shop fits, we will make the cover to the dimensions of your duvet.

Why choose a single duvet cover?

Sometimes only one piece is needed: the duvet cover may be worn while the rest of the set is still in good condition, or you may wish to add a second one as a spare.

Every cover can be ordered individually. You are not tied to a fixed set and can choose the fabric and colour to complement your existing bed linen.

Duvet covers in four fabrics

Percale is woven in a plain weave: the warp and weft threads cross evenly, creating a matte, dry surface. At 120 g/m², the fabric is smooth and durable.

Sateen refers to a type of weave, not a fibre. In this construction, the threads pass over several interlacing points, creating a smooth, subtly lustrous surface. Our cotton sateen also has a fabric weight of 120 g/m² and a clean, understated appearance.

MicroModal is an especially fine quality of Modal, a regenerated cellulose fibre derived from wood-based cellulose. Also woven in a sateen construction, it has a fabric weight of 125 g/m² and a lighter, more fluid drape than our cotton sateen. You can find out more on our page about Tencel bedding.

Linen has a matte appearance and a texture that can be both seen and felt. Of the four fabrics in this category, linen is the only one without a zip. Instead, it has a hotel-style closure — a folded opening without any visible fastening. Percale, sateen and MicroModal are finished with a concealed zip.

A fabric’s appearance in the light and its feel are easier to assess from a sample than on a screen. Request fabric samples.

The colours

Our percale duvet covers are available in thirteen colours: Pure White, Cream Light Beige, Pearl Light Grey, Azure Light Blue, Aloe Mint Green, Sage Green, Malva Dusty Rose, Cherry Blossom Pink, Ochre Yellow, Denim Grey Blue, Forest Dark Green, Graphite Dark Grey and Night Dark Blue.

Our cotton sateen is available in Marble White, Taupe Greige and Black; MicroModal and linen are currently offered in white.

As long as a colour remains part of our collection, it can be reordered for a second cover or as a replacement.

Two duvets, two covers

For two separate duvets, you can choose covers in the same fabric and colour. The covers may have different dimensions: each one should match the size of its respective duvet. For the most consistent colour appearance, we recommend ordering both covers at the same time.

Custom sizes from the atelier

If the dimensions of your duvet differ from the sizes available in our shop, send us the required width and length in centimetres together with your preferred fabric. We will assess the dimensions for technical feasibility and confirm the price before you place your order.

We do not charge an additional fee for a custom size. The price is calculated in the same way as for the sizes available in our shop. Oliwia, our Atelier Concierge, will reply personally by email or WhatsApp.

Prices by fabric

The price depends on the fabric and size. A single duvet cover starts at €85 in percale, €95 in cotton sateen, €120 in MicroModal and €145 in linen.

We do not keep finished bedding in stock. Every cover is cut and sewn only after your order is placed.
