All-season duvets

An all-season duvet carries the warmth level Medium: within each collection, it is the version between the summer and the winter filling, made for the whole year. Our six collections are also available in an all-season version: with TENCEL™ Lyocell, Polish or Siberian goose down, alpaca wool, merino wool or a blend of cashmere and merino. The range runs from washable fibre and down duvets to finely made wool duvets. All of them come in 20 sizes from 135x200 to 280x240 cm; beyond these we sew custom sizes. Each duvet is made after the order is placed, in our own ateliers. Choose the filling first, then the size.

Which all-season duvet is right for you?

All six all-season editions have our Medium warmth rating — the choice comes down to material, cover and care. First, consider whether the medium fill weight suits your personal warmth needs. Those with a lower need for warmth may continue to use a summer duvet in winter, while those who feel cold quickly or sleep in a cool bedroom may prefer a winter duvet during the colder months. With its medium fill weight, the all-season duvet is the edition between the two. Each edition is a single duvet, not a two-part combination fastened together.

Six collections for year-round use

The filling influences drape, warmth and care. All six all-season editions have our Medium warmth rating — they differ in material and character.

Dreamy with TENCEL™ Lyocell

Dreamy is filled with 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell, a fibre made from wood cellulose that absorbs and releases moisture. In the 135 × 200 cm size, the all-season edition contains 1,100 g of filling — between the summer edition (400 g) and the winter edition (1,350 g). The batiste cover is made from equal parts TENCEL™ Lyocell and cotton; Dreamy can be washed at up to 60 °C.

Royal with Polish goose down

Royal combines Polish goose down with a light batiste made from Egyptian Mako cotton. The down comes from small farms in Poland and has a fill power of 850 cuin — a measure of the volume achieved by one gram of down. In the 135 × 200 cm size, the all-season edition contains 500 g of filling — between the summer edition (270 g) and the winter edition (630 g). Royal can be washed at up to 60 °C.

Alpaca with alpaca wool from Peru

The filling consists of 100% alpaca wool from Peru, enclosed in a soft, closely woven cotton batiste. Alpaca wool can absorb moisture and offers a pronounced level of warmth as temperatures change. Professional cleaning is recommended instead of washing.

Cashmere with cashmere and merino wool

The Cashmere collection is filled with 70% cashmere wool and 30% wool from Alpine merino sheep. The cover is made from smooth cotton sateen. The all-season edition is suited to those who prefer the warmer character of a wool blend as temperatures change. The applicable care instructions are provided on the product page and sewn-in care label.

Merino with wool from Alpine merino sheep

Merino is filled with 100% wool from Alpine merino sheep. The pure wool filling is enclosed in a smooth cotton sateen cover. It can absorb moisture and is suited to those who prefer a slightly warmer duvet character throughout the year. The applicable care instructions are provided on the product page and sewn-in care label.

Queen with Siberian goose down

Queen is filled with 100% Siberian goose down. The super-batiste cover is made from 52% LENZING™ Lyocell Micro and 48% cotton (90 g/m², 340 TC). The all-season duvet can be washed at up to 60 °C. Compared with Royal, Queen is suited to those who prefer a cover made from Lyocell and cotton.

The duvet remains, the cover changes

With a medium fill weight, the interplay with different bed-linen fabrics becomes particularly noticeable: the duvet remains the same, while the cover helps adapt it to the season. Airy weaves such as percale and linen feel lighter during the warmer months, while Tencel can absorb moisture on humid nights. Smooth sateen, which lies closer to the body, conveys a warmer character during the cooler months. In this way, one duvet can accompany you throughout the year, while the cover becomes a subtle seasonal adjustment. Room temperature and your personal warmth preferences also play a role.

20 sizes for individual and shared duvets

Dimensions are stated as width × length — 200 × 220 and 220 × 200 cm are therefore two different formats. The duvet cover should match the dimensions of the duvet exactly. Duvets and duvet covers are available in the same sizes.

1. Length — The duvet should reach from your shoulders to beyond your feet.

2. Width — Additional width provides more room at the sides for movement during sleep.

3. One duvet or two — If two people have different warmth preferences, separate duvets are often the more suitable choice, each with an individually selected filling. A shared duvet measuring at least 240 cm in width provides enough room at either side for both people.

Care: air regularly, wash only when needed

Dreamy, Royal and Queen can be washed at up to 60 °C. Alpaca should be professionally cleaned rather than washed. For the Cashmere and Merino collections, follow the care instructions on the individual product page and sewn-in care label, particularly if a specific washing temperature or machine washing is important to your choice.

The simplest form of care throughout the year is regular airing. During sleep, the body releases moisture, some of which is absorbed by the duvet. Regular airing helps preserve the loft of down and release moisture from wool and Lyocell. It also allows odours to dissipate and may reduce the need for intensive cleaning, helping to protect the filling. In the morning, shake out the duvet and air it briefly by an open window or on a balcony on a dry day, avoiding damp weather.
