An inner cushion is the cushion within the cushion: the filling that gives sofa cushions, decorative cushions and couch cushions their shape — the cover defines the visible character. Our DekoDream inner cushion, also commonly referred to as a cushion insert, is filled with polyester fibre balls and enclosed in a durable cover made from fine microfibre. It can be washed at up to 95 °C. Ten sizes are available; we also make custom sizes. Made in Poland.

Which size suits your cushion cover?
The stated size of your cushion cover is the reference point. An inner cushion in the same size fills the cover smoothly and evenly; for a fuller appearance, one size larger is often chosen. Both approaches are common — the choice depends on the look you prefer. For square covers, 40×40 and 50×50 cm are common starting formats; elongated covers are often paired with 30×50 or 40×60 cm.

The DekoDream inner cushion
The filling consists of 100% silicone-treated polyester fibre balls: the smooth finish supports the movement of the fibre balls — the cushion can be shaken out, and the filling redistributes evenly. The cover is a durable, finely woven microfibre (100% polyester). DekoDream is designed for sofa and decorative cushions; it is not intended as a sleeping pillow — for this purpose, we offer dedicated pillows. We are preparing our own decorative cushions — for example in pure wool; DekoDream is designed as their inner cushion.

Care: washable at up to 95 °C
DekoDream is machine washable at up to 95 °C. Do not bleach, dry clean or tumble dry; between washes, shaking out and airing are usually sufficient. The binding care instructions are provided on the product page and on the sewn-in care label.
