Six collections for different summer nights

The filling influences the way a duvet drapes, retains warmth and should be cared for. Lyocell, down and wool therefore feel different even in a light summer weight.

Dreamy with TENCEL™ Lyocell

Dreamy is filled with 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell, a fibre made from wood cellulose that absorbs and releases moisture. The batiste cover is made from equal parts TENCEL™ Lyocell and cotton. The summer version has a light warmth level and can be washed at 60 °C. It is suited to those who prefer a cellulose-based filling and a washable summer duvet.

Royal with Polish goose down

Royal combines Polish goose down with a light batiste cover made from Egyptian Mako cotton. The down comes from small farms in Poland and has a fill power of 850 cuin — a measure of the volume achieved by a given amount of down. This gives the duvet its light, lofty structure without requiring a heavy filling. The summer version has a light warmth level and can be washed at 60 °C.

Alpaca with alpaca wool from Peru

The filling consists of 100% alpaca wool from Peru. A soft, closely woven cotton batiste surrounds the wool. Alpaca wool retains warmth even in a duvet with relatively little volume and can absorb moisture. This version is suited to those who prefer a little more warmth on summer nights. Professional cleaning is recommended instead of washing.

Cashmere with cashmere and merino wool

Cashmere is filled with 70% cashmere and 30% wool from Alpine merino sheep. The cover is made from smooth cotton sateen. The wool blend provides a little more warmth for cooler summer nights. The care instructions on the product are definitive.

Merino with wool from Alpine merino sheep

Merino is filled with 100% wool from Alpine merino sheep. The pure wool filling is enclosed in a smooth cotton sateen cover and is suited to nights that vary in temperature. Care should follow the instructions on the product page and the product label.

Queen with Siberian goose down

Queen is filled with 100% Siberian goose down. The fine batiste cover is made from 52% LENZING™ Lyocell Micro and 48% cotton (90 g/m², 340 thread count). The duvet can be washed at 60 °C. It is an alternative to Royal for those who prefer a cover combining Lyocell and cotton.

Which summer duvet suits your personal warmth preference?

A light warmth level is the starting point for warm nights. How warm you feel also depends on the room temperature, bed linen and your own need for warmth. No material can guarantee that you will not sweat.

If you tend to sleep warm, start with the light warmth level. Wool fillings may be more suitable for cooler bedrooms or nights when temperatures vary. Your personal warmth preference matters more than the season alone. On the hottest nights, a flat sheet may be enough as the lightest covering; for the colder months, we offer all-season and winter duvets.

20 sizes for individual or shared use

Dimensions are given as width × length. This means that 200 × 220 cm and 220 × 200 cm are two different formats: the first is 200 cm wide and 220 cm long, while the second is 220 cm wide and 200 cm long. The duvet cover should match the duvet dimensions exactly — both are available in the same sizes.

For the length, check that the duvet reaches from your shoulders to beyond your feet. Additional width gives you more room at the sides when you turn in your sleep or draw the duvet around you. Couples should also consider whether both prefer the same warmth level: two individual summer duvets can be chosen separately according to material and warmth preference, while a shared duvet provides one continuous surface and should give both sleepers sufficient room at the sides.

Care as a selection criterion

Dreamy, Royal and Queen can be washed at 60 °C. Alpaca should be professionally cleaned rather than washed. For Cashmere Gold Light and Merino, follow the information on the individual product page and the sewn-in care label. These provide the definitive guidance if a particular washing temperature or machine washing is important to your choice.

The simplest care for all six collections is regular airing. During sleep, the body releases moisture, some of which passes into the duvet. Airing helps maintain the loft of down and allows wool and Lyocell to release moisture. It also helps odours dissipate, may reduce the need for more intensive cleaning and helps preserve the filling. Shake the duvet out in the morning and air it by an open window or on a balcony on a dry day, avoiding damp weather.
