Micromodal bedding set in Alabaster Cream
Alabaster Cream is a light, warm shade of cream with a subtle beige undertone. Next to white, its depth of colour shows clearly; against Travertine Beige, it remains considerably lighter. On the flowing Micromodal sateen, colour, fine sheen and soft drape come together as a calm, light surface. Alongside white, Alabaster Cream is the second colour in our Buna Micromodal collection. The set consists of a duvet cover and pillowcase; a fitted sheet and flat sheet are available separately in the same fabric.
Alabaster Cream in the bedroom
Next to pale woods, linen and warm natural tones, Alabaster Cream remains understated. Against dark wood or a coloured wall, the light cream stands out more clearly. Because of the fine sheen, the colour changes with the light: it looks lighter on smooth areas, while the warm beige undertone comes through more strongly in the folds. Anyone who wants a light bed but would rather avoid the crispness of pure white will find Alabaster Cream the warmer alternative. White Buna adds a lighter accent; Travertine Beige takes the palette in a distinctly deeper, mineral direction.
Who Micromodal is for
Micromodal sateen has a smooth, soft surface and a flowing drape. Anyone who prefers a matt, drier surface is better served by percale; for the feel of cotton with the fine sheen of a satin weave, there is our Classico sateen collection.
Fibre, weave and surface
Modal is a regenerated cellulose fibre made from wood. Micro technology produces particularly fine modal fibres; it is these fibres that give the fabric its soft feel and flowing drape. The fabric has a satin weave. The warp thread passes over several weft threads, so more yarn lies on the surface and forms the smooth face with its fine sheen. For this bed linen, we use a fabric with 300 threads per square inch (300 TC) and a weight of 125 g/m², woven in Northern Italy.
Sizes and made to measure
The duvet cover comes in 30 sizes, from 90×120 cm to 280×240 cm, and the pillowcase in 26 pillow sizes, from 30×50 cm to 40×145 cm, plus a cover for the 15×40 cm neck roll. You choose the two sizes independently. If your size is not listed, we sew it to your measurements – at no extra charge, on request by email or WhatsApp.
Made in the atelier
Each set is cut and sewn after your order is placed. Because we make to order, we do not keep finished bed linen in stock – you receive not a ready-made piece but a set made for your order. The zips on the duvet cover and pillowcase are of German manufacture and have metal sliders. They are concealed and colour-matched to the fabric.
Care and certification
Wash the Alabaster Cream bedding set inside out at 40 °C. The fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
