Bed Sheets
Two decisions lead to the right sheet: the type and the size. A fitted sheet sits securely on the mattress with an all-round elasticated edge, while a flat sheet is a smooth rectangle without elastic — tucked beneath the mattress as a bottom sheet or placed over the body as a top sheet. We make both in all four fabrics used across our bed linen collections — percale, cotton sateen, MicroModal and linen — and in every colour of the respective collection. Each collection is produced as a complete ensemble: duvet cover, pillowcase, fitted sheet and flat sheet. This allows the entire bed to be composed within one material world, rather than simply covered. Every sheet is made to order in our ateliers in Germany and Poland — and where no standard size is suitable, we make it to your measurements.

Frequently asked questions about bed sheets
What is the difference between a fitted sheet and a flat sheet?
A fitted sheet has elastic around the entire edge and sits securely on the mattress; its width, length and depth must match the mattress. A flat sheet is a plain rectangular sheet without elastic — it is tucked beneath the mattress and can therefore be used with different mattress set-ups.
What mattress depths are the sheets suitable for?
The fitted sheets available in our shop are made for mattress set-ups measuring 18 to 30 cm in depth, including the topper. Flat sheets are suitable for mattresses up to approximately 27 cm deep. For depths above or below these ranges, we make sheets to measure.
Which sheet is suitable for a box-spring bed?
Measure the upper mattress together with the topper, not the bed base. If their combined depth is no more than 30 cm, a fitted sheet from our standard range will fit. If it exceeds 30 cm, we will make one to your measurements.
Which fitted sheet do I need for a topper?
The topper is included in the total mattress depth, so measure it together with the mattress. It does not need a separate sheet as long as it lies on top of the mattress.
Are sheets available to match my bed linen?
Yes. Each of our collections is made as a complete ensemble: duvet cover, pillowcase, fitted sheet and flat sheet — in every fabric and colour of the respective collection.
Do you make sheets in custom sizes and shapes?
Yes, provided the requested size or shape is technically feasible — including for caravans, yacht berths, antique beds and individually shaped mattresses. Send us the measurements and, where helpful, a sketch of the shape; we will confirm the price before you place your order.
